ITIN Services
An ITIN is a nine-digit number issued by the Internal Revenue Service to individuals that are not eligible to get a social security number but are required for federal tax purposes to have one. As an IRS Certified Acceptance Agent, Servicentro Latino can help you apply or renew your individual tax identification number.
The documents required to apply for an ITIN and currently accepted by our office are as follows:
To verify identity (one of the following original document must be presented in person)
- Passport
- Driver license
- State Identification
- Foreign Voter Card
- Medical record (younger than 6-year-old)
- School record (ages 6-17 years-old)
To verify nationality (one of the following original documents must be presented in person)
- Passport
- Birth Certificate
To verify residence in the US (one of the following for dependents living in the USA must be presented)
- Rental Agreement listing applicant’s name as living in the unit
- Utility Service invoice under the applicant’s name
- Bank Statement under the applicant’s name
- School record for applicants younger than 18-year-old
